Borrowing an item
Find it
Browse or search for what you need from neighbors nearby — tools, cameras, gear, vehicles, anything.
Request to book
Pick your dates and send a request. Choose LNDLI Pay (online) or arrange a Personal Transaction with the owner.
Get your pickup code
Once the owner accepts, a 4-digit pickup code appears in your profile under “My Rentals.”
Meet & pick up
Show the owner your code at handoff. They enter it in their app to confirm you’ve got the item and start the rental.
Return & confirm
When you return the item, confirm it in the app. That’s what releases payment to the owner — so you’re always in control.
Lending your stuff & earning
List your item
Add a few photos, set your price, and describe it. Listing is always free.
Connect payouts
Link your bank once (via Stripe) so LNDLI Pay earnings land automatically. We never see your bank details.
Accept requests
Review who wants to rent your item and approve. A 4-digit handoff code is generated automatically.
Confirm the pickup
At handoff, enter the renter’s 4-digit code to start the rental. No code, no start — it protects both sides.
Get paid
When the renter confirms the return, your share (90%) is released from escrow to your bank automatically.
Two ways to pay
Renters always see the true price — there’s no hidden checkout fee. LNDLI’s platform fee comes out of the owner’s side.
LNDLI Pay
Pay securely online. Your money is held in escrow and only released to the owner once you confirm the item came back. Best for peace of mind.
Personal Transaction
Prefer to settle in person? Arrange payment directly — cash, Zelle, Venmo, whatever works. The owner remits LNDLI’s fee after the rental completes.
A $1.50 minimum platform fee applies on small rentals.
